About this guy…
One word?
Visionary.
But he doesn’t just see potential states, he possesses both the drive and capacity to work towards them. Summing him up in a paragraph is not an easy feat, but I took a crack at it regardless.
Habeeb is the founder of Glass, a solution that functions in the niche of digital payments and collection infrastructure for organized groups - and just so happens to be the winner of the Babcock University Innovation Challenge (BIC). Apart from Glass, he has founded TechHub and EventNav - initiatives that span the specializations of mobile app/website development for the event industry, and a culture of innovation.
As a builder, he has amassed several awards, a testament to his commitment to working in the top percentile. These include, but are not limited to, the ‘BSA Special Award of Honour’ at the BSA Spotlight Awards, and a nomination for ‘Student Leader of the Year’ at the Babcock University Students' Entrepreneurship Club (BUSEC) Awards, feats that speak to his impact not just as the community manager of GDG Babcock, but as one of the voices shaping the campus.
He remains a symbol of dedication for the many people who admire his perseverance and problem-solving. From his bold application and through his remarkable leadership, Habeeb sets the standard for what it means to truly care about the growth of a thing.
He describes himself as very impatient, and it is clearly displayed in his inability to wait for someone else to solve a problem. In the initiatives he took, he decided what being the Community Manager would mean for him. It is definitely not far-fetched to see Habeeb next to words like brilliant and rare gem. We know that even after GDG Babcock, he will continue to be the fixer we know and love.
